Community

The Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments (NLCOG), in cooperation with the project team, has developed an extensive community involvement plan for the I-49 Inner City Connector Project.  Public involvement is a critical component of the project development process.  We encourage the public to participate in the development of this project through the use of this website, attending the upcoming Community Input Meetings, or taking our online survey.  You can also provide comments using the Contact Us link and check back continually for updates as the project progresses.

Community Input Meetings

Residents are encouraged to attend one of a series of Community Input Meetings to be held throughout the Shreveport area.   The Community Input Meetings will give residents an opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts on how an Inner City Connector could affect them, and give their ideas on possible corridor locations.  Residents of Shreveport, Bossier City and the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend any of the meetings to give their input.

All Community Input Meetings are free and open to the public.
