CURRENT STAGE
The first round of the Stage 1 Community Input Meetings was held in December 2011. The Round 1 meeting material and transcript can be found below under the Round 1 Community Input Meetings heading.

The second round of these meetings was held between December 11-13, 2012. Each open-house style event lasted two hours and people were invited to walk through and view four build alternatives, two potential interchange (enter/exit) locations, and the no-build alternative. All the items distributed at the meeting are available to download below under the Round 2 Community Input Meetings heading. Some of the file sizes are large and may take several minutes to download. An event summary of the second round of meetings was prepared that summarizes the meeting format, advertisement, attendance, and input received. Comment responses were also prepared for all comments received at the second round of input meetings and during the associated comment period.

A third round of six community input meetings was held between January 19-21, 2016 to present a fifth build alternative alongside the previous four build alternatives. Build Alternative 5 was suggested during the second round of community input meetings. This NEPA-derived alternative generally follows the route of LA 3132, the Inner Loop Expressway, from its interchange with I-49 south of Shreveport to the new interchange of I-49 at I-220. All project information displayed at these meetings is available below under the Round 3 Community Input Meetings heading.

An open house public meeting was held on October 17, 2023 to share another build alternative with the public. In response to concerns relative to adverse effects on historic structures and a proposed historic district, a sixth build alternative, Build Alternative 3A, has been developed to minimize impacts on both historic structures and the Allendale community.
